Understanding the Loyalty Analytics

The Loyalty Analytics dashboards are a great way to get a grasp on how your loyalty program is performing--and to help find areas of improvement to increase the success of your program. We'll be covering the two different dashboards :

General Metrics

Member Tier Metrics Applicable for Programs with Member Tiers

In all dashboards by default, the date range is set to the Last 30 days. You can use the dropdown menus to select a different date range as needed.

Note: Redemption and Member Tier metrics prior to Jan 1, 2024 may contain partial data.

Access your Dashboards

In your Friendbuy account, navigate to Loyalty > Analytics

General Metrics

Loyalty Program Registrations

Total number of new members that have registered for the loyalty program within the selected date range.

Active Loyalty Members

Total number of registered members that have successfully completed at least one earning event within the selected date range (excluding loyalty registration).

Member Purchases

Total number of purchases made by registered members within the selected date range (with or without redeeming a loyalty reward).

Member Revenue

Total amount of revenue generated by registered member purchases within the selected date range (net order amount with or without redeeming a loyalty reward).

Purchasing Members

The unique count of members who made purchases.

AOV

Member Revenue divided by Purchasing Members.

Redeemed Purchases

Total number of purchases made by registered members within the selected date range in which a redeemed loyalty reward was applied to (reward types distributed through a loyalty or checkout widget such as Coupon Codes, Gift Cards, Shopify Discounts, and Rechange Discounts).

Redeemed Revenue

Total amount of revenue generated by redeemed purchases within the selected date range (net order amount).

Redeeming Members

The unique count of members who made purchases with a loyalty reward.

AOV

Redeemed Revenue divided by Redeeming Members.

Earning Event Completions

Total number of unique completed earning events within the selected date range. For making a purchase earning event, reward delay period must have passed.

Points Earned

Total amount of loyalty points earned by registered members within the selected date range.

Points Redeemed

Total amount of loyalty points redeemed by registered members within the selected date range.

Points Redemption Rate

Points Redeemed divided by Points Earned.

Member Tier Metrics

Member Composition

Total registered member count based on the final day of the selected date range.

Tier Movement

This table tracks all movements of members between tiers within the selected date range. Each count represents a unique movement. For example, moving from Tier 1 to Tier 2 to Tier 3 counts as 2 separate movements on this table, not a single movement from Tier 1 to Tier 3.

Member Purchases

Tier

Data captured in each row corresponds to the tier the member was in at the time of purchase.

Purchases

Total number of purchases made by registered members within the specified date range (with or without redeeming a loyalty reward).

Revenue

Total amount of revenue generated by registered member purchases within the specified date range (net order amount with or without redeeming a loyalty reward).

Members

The unique count of members who made purchases.

Revenue divided by Purchases

Redeemed Purchases

Tier

Data captured in each row corresponds to the tier the member was in at the time of purchase.

Redeemed Purchases

Total number of purchases made by registered members within the specified date range when a redeemed loyalty reward was applied. Reward types include Coupon Codes, Gift Cards, Shopify Discounts, and Rechange Discounts.

Redeemed Revenue

Total amount of revenue generated by redeemed purchases within the specified date range (net order amount).

Redeeming Members

The unique count of members who placed purchases with a loyalty reward.

Redeemed AOV

Redeemed Revenue divided by Redeemed Purchases

Earning Events Completions

Total number of completed earning events within the specified date range, broken down by tiers. Tiers are based on the customers' tier at the time the earning event was completed.

Active Members

The unique count of registered members who completed at least one earning event within the specified date range (excluding loyalty registration). Note: As members travel through tiers, their activities will be counted against each tier.

Redeemed Rewards

This chart corresponds to the point redemption options you configured for your program. Note: this chart does not represent a funnel view, meaning that the counts displayed in each column are independent and not interconnected. This is the data captured within the specified date range.

Tier

Data Total number of completed earning events within the specified date range, broken down by tiers. Tiers are based on the customers' tier at the time the earning event was completed.

Rewards Claimed

The number of times points were exchanged for a reward in the customer's account loyalty dashboard.

Redeemed in a Purchase

The number of purchases made when claimed rewards were applied.

Total Revenue

The amount of revenue generated from purchases when claimed rewards were applied.

AOV

Total Revenue divided by Redeemed in Purchase.
